Very hard to be Head of the Joey Gang in a Holiday Home full of cats. Am ensuring PJ understands - I sit behind the armchair by the lounge door and wait - then I pounce! Damn well annonying because he bounds after me - thinks I'm playing. I AM NOT! Am attempting to be firm and ensure he knows his place. Is NOT working.
Am very frustrated in the evening.

The Hoover Experience
Normally I run at the first sight of the hoover - bloody noisy thing! Our home was empty when Mum got out the machine. I was just about to leg it when I noticed PJ the Stray was staying put. Thought best to appear cool and unafraid so I remained rooted to the ground.
God I was glad when Mum switched the sodding thing off.
Then I got thrust into my carrier - yes, thrust - I grumped alarmingly, forgetting about being cool in an instant. Turned my back on Mum in pure disgust. Next minute I know I'm at the Holiday Home.
Thankfully I 'd been placed on the front car seat - well I am Head of the Joey Gang.

The Online Joey Gang
Well, I have my real life Joey Gang, with Tabitha as my Number 2. Sam is in my gang but he is off on out exploring The Wilds ... long term. I do wish he'd come home.

Tabitha in Print - Your Cat Magazine
Your Cat magazine - 'Cat Chat' - June 2008 issue.
Ok, so Tabitha got herself into a magazine. The piece is about Petstreet and what it is to meet people who adore animals. It is great for small rescue centres and animals whom desperately need a kind loving home ... maybe a few animals in need of TLC will find a wonderful home ... we all need that!
Speaking of which, I am tolerating PJ rather a lot (who was called Fluffy until Dad renamed him). Mum bought PJ a bright orange food bowl - he has yet to learn manners:
1: he must not jump on the kitchen woodtops -that is one Cat Rule.
2: he must learn his food bowl will not be filled first - even I understand Tabitha's need for food first.
3: he must not make Tabitha and I jump when he jumps on the bed. Ok, so I normally sleep in my basket, but that's not the point - I decided to snuggle with Mum ... that's another story.
4: he must not sit in the doorway when I want to come indoors.
5: above all, PJ must understand that I am Head of the Joey Gang and what I say goes.
Please don't let Mum try him on my Webbox ...

Fluffy
The Joey Gang spent the evening in - well, Mum does still insist on this sodding curfew thing - including Fluffy, who was stretched across the hall floor. I kept check on her by discreetly walking pass - er, many times. I am sure 'she' has balls.

My Gang
I am of course, head of the Joey Gang - my popularity seems to be grewing as Fluffy is a regular to our garden - and our biscuit bowl. Naturally I huffed a couple of times. If she is to be a part of my gang, I must draw the line about cetain things.

Peace
Fluffy Follower is no where to be seen today - probably got the hint I am far too cool to hangout with women. Ahh, peace.
Bit windy today - the weather I mean. Tabitha and I ran indoors a few times - not that I was scared of the strong gales but Tabitha was so thought best to pop indoors with her.
Girls - always need our help.

The Fuffy Follower Returns
What is it with women? Can they not leave me alone when I'm warm in my home? She sat the opposite side of the outside door so I could see her through the glass. Why?
Dad said: "Ah, Joey's new friend has come calling for him." Oh please.
Damn me if Mum didn't go out and give her a fuss - why encourage? And Mum gave her one of my Felix sticks - good thing it wasn't a Webbox stick as I would have had lots to say!
Have named her the Fluffy Follower - well, she is clearly besotted with me.
