Grumpy Joe's Pet Emporium

Grumpy Joe is back from his holidays.

His shop is open.

Infact, instead of ignoring my Mum and Dad for sending me away for a few days, I have been a charming and loving pussy cat.
I am also feeling guilty as the live mouse I bought in prior to said holiday has caused umm, some havoc whilst we've all been away ....
Will continue to be a loving, kind kitty...

Grumpy Joe Takes a While Earned Break from his Busy Business Life

Grumpy Joe rests his wary paws after preparing about 30 orders since 1st September 2013 of handmade Cat Flea Balm, Dog Flea Balm and Soothing Balm, Dog Coat Conditioner and old-fashioned Dog Shampoo Soap...

Grumpy Joe is taking a week off  from his shops at www.bathbombcreations.blogspot.com.  He is also over whelmed that his natural products are so popular.... Grumpy Joe will be back on Saturday 21st,

Holiday Home - Day 21

It's a Cat Understanding that at the Gran-Mum's Holiday Home we do not go outside. So I can only look at things growing outside.

And, I keep seeing Mum add something to our drinking water (Rose Rock - Rescue Remedy) - hmm, seems to be helping my euphoric-staying-indoors mood of late.

Strange.

Cat Nip

Look at the pair of 'em! Bloody well spaced out on Catnip. Harumph, doesn't affect me. TABITHA & PJ the STRAY

Holiday Home - Day 19

Hmm, Gonzo and PJ had a grumble at one another - Gonzo, although a spitful brat, backed into a corner. Honestly! Does PJ have to be good at everything!

Thought best to err, wait, you know, and dash to Gonzo's rescue at the right time, you know, when he really does need me.
Not my fault if PJ had moved on before I got there.

Hoilday Home - Day 19

Damn plan is failing. Take PJ. I sit behind the armchair by the lounge door waiting to pounce. PJ, yes him, jumps on the arm, up onto the back of the chair and jumps into the hall.

Bah. Cat obviously has brains. Sodding know it all.

Must devise new plans to catch him out.

Hoilday Home - Day 15

Very hard to be Head of the Joey Gang in a Holiday Home full of cats. Am ensuring PJ understands - I sit behind the armchair by the lounge door and wait - then I pounce! Damn well annonying because he bounds after me - thinks I'm playing. I AM NOT! Am attempting to be firm and ensure he knows his place. Is NOT working.

Am very frustrated in the evening.

Holiday Home - Day 7 continued

Am also feeling being Head of the Joey Gang being out of my control here - too many cats who DO NOT take any notice of me ...

Do they not recognise my authority?!

Holiday Home - Day 7

My calm and collected mood seems not to have lasted ... have discovered that by hidding behind the armchair I can grumble and pounce on any cat that comes into the lounge. Even Mum's feet ...

Hoilday Home - Day 4

It's Day 4 at the Holiday Home. My Mum is staying here and so I am the picture of calmness and happiness. No hiding behind the sofa grumping for me.

PJ also happy so must continue my picture of coolness infront of him instead of normal holiday sulking behind said sofa.

The Hoover Experience

Normally I run at the first sight of the hoover - bloody noisy thing! Our home was empty when Mum got out the machine. I was just about to leg it when I noticed PJ the Stray was staying put. Thought best to appear cool and unafraid so I remained rooted to the ground.

God I was glad when Mum switched the sodding thing off.

Then I got thrust into my carrier - yes, thrust - I grumped alarmingly, forgetting about being cool in an instant. Turned my back on Mum in pure disgust. Next minute I know I'm at the Holiday Home.

Thankfully I 'd been placed on the front car seat - well I am Head of the Joey Gang.

Our Holiday Home

Thought Mum had dumped us at the 'Gran-Mum-Holiday-Home' so I did as I do best and stomped off behind the sofa to moan, grunt, hiss, and grump.

Felt immensley better when I realised my Mum was staying too. Suddenly felt overwhelmed to be a happy, approachable purring cat AND to allow my Gran-Mum to fuss me.

Not only that, Mum has bought the sodding stray with us so I had to appear cool over the entire house move thing. He is.
