"Well, I thought, if PJ the Stray can investigate the other side of the river-ditch, so can I! Thing is, couldn't remember where I got across. Found a shaky branch and meowed constantly when I was half way across. Luckily Mum understood and clambered down into the ditch with a makeshift bridge. By then I decided to jump for it.
I fell into the ditch. Brrr, the water was cold.
PJ came along and practically jumped the ditch - bloody show off."
